Author Description Angela Vogel’s first full-length poetry collection, FORT GORGEOUS, won The National Poetry Review Press Book Prize in 2010. Her poems appear in Best New Poets 2008, The National Poetry Review, The Southeast Review, Barrow Street, POOL, Southern Poetry Review, Gulf Coast, Cave Wall, Cimarron Review, etc., and were selected for Verse Daily’s 2010 Favorite list. Awards include the 2008 Southeast Review Poetry Prize, Honorable Mention in the Tupelo Press 2011 Spring Poetry Project, four Pushcart Prize nominations, and a residency at the Mary Anderson Center for the Arts. Her chapbook, SOCIAL SMILE, was published by Finishing Line Press.
