Author Description Chika Onyenezi is a Nigerian-born fiction writer. His works has been published or forthcoming in TriQuarterly, Image Journal, Prairie Schooner, Chicago Quarterly Review, Ninth Letter Magazine, Evergreen Review, J Journal: New Writing on Justice, and elsewhere.He is a finalist in 2021 Tupelo Quarterly Prose Open Prize, and a semifinalist for the Boston Review 2020 Aura Estrada Short Story Contest. His stories has placed in Competitions by Glimmer Train. His story “Twenty Thousand Cedis” won the 4th Annual Scoundrel Time Editors’ Choice Award in Fiction. He has received fellowships from Kimbilio and Craigarden. In addition to writing short stories, he has a novel in progress.
